OUR VENUE
Castell d’Empordà is a 14th century Spanish castle that was renovated in 1999 and re-opened its doors in 2001. This castle is surrounded by olive-fields in one of the most beautiful areas of Catalonia, the Baix Emporda. The castle is known for it’s peaceful nature and serene views, but it is very close to the hustle and bustle of the city and the gorgeous beaches of Costa Brava. The hotel has two restaurants, two beautiful pools, modern rooms, wifi, and most importantly, AC.
We are so excited to start our next chapter here surrounded by family and friends.
ACCOMODATIONS
A block of rooms have been reserved and will be assigned upon check-in, and the cost of the stay for the four-days three-nights (Sept 28th-Oct 1st) at the hotel will be covered.
We are providing a shuttle service to and from the venue. The pickup and drop off points will be the Barcelona Airport (BCN). There also will be shuttles for the excursion day.

WHERE CAN WE EXPLORE?
There is so much to do around our venue!
We will be surrounded by olive fields and oak and cork forests with scenic vistas. There are hiking trails and bike rentals at the hotel.
You can visit beaches on the Costa Brava, which are 20 mins away by car.
Spend time in La Bisbal d’Emporda, especially if you like ceramics - this town is a mecca for pottery and has a lot of local artisan shops. It’s very close by.
Tour the Dalí Triangle: Visit the Gala Dali Castle in Pubol, and other Dalí landmarks.
Medieval villages: There are many small, charming history towns nearby to explore.

WHAT ARE WE EATING?
Breakfast will be provided for at the hotel each morning. The hotel has two restaurants; Drac Restaurant and Tres Margarit. They also have the Da.Li Sunset Terrace that will have cocktails and tapas around the pool. Please make lunch reservations morning of with the hotel front desk so they can prepare tables.

WEDDING DAY:
Black-tie Preferred; Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tuxedo, or a suit and tie. Ladies may wear a floor-length gown, or a sophisticated evening ensemble.
REHERSAL DINNER:
CocktailAttire; For the ladies, a cocktail dress or a polished evening look. For the gentlemen, a suit or dress pant, with or without a blazer, no tie required.
