Our wedding will be held at Hotel Castell D’Emporda, Spain. This a beautifully restored 14th-century castle surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and sweeping views of the Spanish countryside. This hotel offers incredible food, local wine, and we are so excited to begin our next chapter here surrounded by our closest family and friends.

A block of rooms has been reserved at Hotel Castell d’Emporda, and the cost of rooms for the four-day, three-night stay will be covered for all guests.

Barcelona Airport (BCN) has direct flights from:

The Barcelona Airport is located an ~hour 40 from the venue. So transportation from the airport to our venue can be arranged. You also could rent a car and drive to the venue. There will be parking available.

For traveling to Spain you’ll need:
A valid passport, make sure it doesn’t expire for at least 3 months after your planned return date
Starting mid-2025, the ETIAS travel authorization will be required for entry into Spain and other European countries. It’s a quick online form (similar to the U.S. ESTA and will cost about $10)
You do not need a visa if you’re staying for less than 90 days (I will be so jealous if you are!)

Our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and after party will take place at Hotel Castell d’Emporda. Easy peasy, all in one place!

Please check your passport early: make sure it’s valid for at least 3 months after your return date (though 6 months is recommended) Renew early if it’s close to expiring
Make copies: Bring a photocopy or picture of your passport just in case it gets lost or stolen
Travel insurance: This will cover delays, cancellations, and medical emergencies while abroad
ETIAS reminder: once the ETIAS system launches, apply online at least a few days before travel - it’s quick and valid for multiple trips over 3 years.

Yes! Parking will be available at the venue if you choose to rent a vehicle.

We’re so excited to spend this week with our closest family and friends. As we’re keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated.

Our hotel includes complimentary breakfast each morning. They also have two restaurants that will be available for guests. We will provide dinner each night.

Our wedding day will be Black Tie Preferred: Women are kindly requested to wear long, floor-length dresses, while men are encouraged to wear suits or tuxedos.

There is so much to do around our venue!
We will be surrounded by olive fields, oak and cork forests with scenic vistas. There are hiking trails and bike rentals at the hotel.
You can visit beaches on the Costa Brava, most are 20 mins away by car. Travel can be arranged with the hotel.
Spend time in La Bisbal d’Emporda, especially if you like ceramics - this town is a mecca for pottery and has a lot of local artisan shops. It’s very close by
Tour the Dalí Triangle: Visit the Gala Dali Castle in Pubol, and other Dalí landmarks
Medieval villages: There are many small, charming history towns nearby
Visit Requesens Castle
